October 2017 NEWSLETTER
To those members who haven’t been playing over recent months, I can now report that the course is in good condition and the greens are the best I can remember, and I’ve been playing at Morack for over 20 years.
Next Club Day is this Saturday, 7th October
Sponsored by M J Docking Real Estate
We will be running the BBQ, with the presentations expected to start at 2:30pm. As usual refreshments will be subsidized by the club. There are also the 11 club day prizes for Straightest Drives and NTPs.
The Major Raffle $1,000 Draw will also be conducted. So remember your lucky numbers and come along for the count down.
The competition of the day will be Stroke as it is the October Monthly Medal as well as the Men’s Matchplay Final, between defending champion, Tony Davis and David Leeson who has won it 4 times already. Annual General Meeting
The AGM of the Club will be held on Tuesday 31st Oct at 7pm at the Clubhouse.
We need as many members as possible to attend to conduct this annual meeting which is usually pretty short in duration. We have already received some nominations for senior committee positions, but there’s still an opportunity for others to put their names forward.
Please make a note in your diaries and allocate the time to support your club and your fellow members.
See you out there, Hugh Williams, Club President
